Let’s be honest, keeping your lashes done can get expensive and time-consuming! It really isn’t even enjoyable. Between booking appointments and sitting for 2–3 hours, it just doesn’t always fit into real life, especially as a busy mom. That’s why I started doing my own lashes at home, and it’s honestly been one of the easiest ways I’ve saved money while still keeping myself looking put together.
I usually purchase my lashes from Amazon, and the process is a lot simpler than it seems. I apply them in three sections instead of trying to do everything at once. I’ll start by adding glue to the first section, place all the lashes there, and then move on to the next section until I’m done. The biggest tip that makes a difference is applying the lashes underneath your natural lash instead of on top! It gives that seamless, lash extension look without the salon visit.
What I love most is how quick and convenient it is. You can get your lashes done in about 10–15 minutes, and you’re good to go for the next 5-7 days. It’s affordable, easy to maintain, and fits into a busy schedule without sacrificing how you look and feel. It’s one of those small things that helps you stay consistent with your self-care without overcomplicating your routine.
