The Best Winter Skin Care Routine For Your Dry Skin

Winter is one of those seasons where your skin will tell on you fast if you’re not taking care of it. The air is so cold and leads to dry, dull skin if you’re not intentional. Over time, I’ve learned that the key isn’t using a million products, it’s about layering moisture the right way and being consistent with it. My routine is pretty simple, but it keeps my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and actually healthy through the colder months.

In the shower, I start with a bar soap, but I always follow it up with a hydrating body cleanser to bring that moisture back into my skin. I also make sure to exfoliate regularly to get rid of any dead skin, because if you skip that step, your products are just sitting on top and not really doing anything. Once I’m out of the shower, that’s when I really lock everything in. I go in with a thick body lotion, lately I’ve been loving Josie Maran body butter and then I seal it all in with argan oil. That combination has been a game changer for keeping my skin smooth and moisturized all day!

For me, winter skincare is all about being intentional and not rushing the process. Taking those extra few minutes to layer your products properly makes such a difference. It’s one of those small ways I take care of myself, and it helps me feel put together even on the busiest days.
